MathTerms is an illustrated glossary of mathematics terms in English and Spanish. It is available for iOS and macOS and runs on iPhones, iPads and Macs. The app includes 500 entries for middle- and high-school mathematical concepts. To help learners master speaking as well as reading, it encompasses audio pronunciations of terms, by English and Spanish native speakers. A flash-card quiz game is included, enabling students to study selected terms in an interactive environment. Once downloaded, no internet connection is required for use.
Millions of students have used an online version of this glossary, and its many colorful, annotated illustrations, for the past 10 years, and this new version reflects their experience. It is now available as an iOS and macOS application with permission of The Charles A. Dana Center at the University of Texas at Austin and Agile Mind, Inc.
The MathTerms App was created by Andy Felong who was Vice President of Engineering at Agile Mind Inc. for over 10 years. He is an active contributor to the Open Source community and maintains an online blog and website at andyfelong.com.
